Clinique Saint-Luc Bouge has selected Nexuzhealth as its partner for a 17-year innovation partnership awarded through a public procurement process, further strengthening Nexuzhealth's position as an innovator in laboratory software and reinforcing its mission to connect healthcare systems within one integrated ecosystem.
Through this partnership, Clinique Saint-Luc Bouge has chosen a future-proof, cloud-native platform (meaning an application specifically designed to take full advantage of cloud capabilities) to further strengthen its laboratory operations and integrate them more closely into the wider care journey. For Nexuzhealth, the collaboration marks an important milestone in the continued rollout of Nexuzhealth Lab across Wallonia. The partnership covers the co-creation, implementation and long-term support of a cloud-based Laboratory Information System (LIS).
A shared ambition: making laboratories an integral part of the care journey
Laboratories play a critical role throughout the healthcare journey. More than 70% of clinical decisions are influenced by laboratory results. At the same time, laboratories are facing growing sample volumes, increasing expectations around speed and quality, and a rising need for integrated digital workflows.
By seamlessly embedding the LIS within the broader healthcare journey, a connected digital environment is created that unifies data, workflows and collaboration across the care continuum. Laboratory data becomes an active contributor to patient care, supporting diagnosis, treatment and follow-up while directly enabling better clinical decision-making, more efficient collaboration and higher-quality of care.

A key element of the partnership is its co-creation model, through which Nexuzhealth and Clinique Saint-Luc Bouge will work closely together on the continued development and refinement of the platform.
This approach ensures that the LIS remains closely aligned with the operational reality of the laboratory, while providing the flexibility to respond to future developments in healthcare and embedding innovation into day-to-day operations.
The partnership covers the entire lifecycle of the platform, from development and implementation to hosting, support and continuous long-term optimisation.

The laboratory at Clinique Saint-Luc Bouge processes approximately 1,500 patient records every day for both hospitalised and ambulatory patients. Around 75 laboratory professionals will work with the new platform.
