A video consultation is a remote appointment with your healthcare provider. You do not need to travel to the hospital. More information about the requirements for a video consultation can be found here.
There are 3 ways to start a video consultation.
Step 1: Log in 15 minutes in advance
Log in at the latest 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment at www.mynexuzhealth.com.
Fifteen minutes before the start of your appointment, you will receive a notification via Mynexuzhealth. Once you are ready, click ‘Confirm your presence’. This informs your healthcare provider that you are present.
Do not close Mynexuzhealth and stay at your computer. Once the healthcare provider is ready, you will receive a notification.
Step 2: Start the video consultation
Do you see a video consultation window in the top right corner with the name of your healthcare provider and hear a ringing sound? Then click the green phone button to answer the call.
Step 3: Grant permission to use your microphone and camera
To see and hear your healthcare provider on your computer, grant (one-time) permission to use your camera and microphone. Permission will be requested in a separate pop-up window. Confirm by clicking ‘Allow’. Also make sure your sound is enabled.
If you do not grant permission, you can only chat with your healthcare provider.
Use the window icon in the top right corner of the bar to enlarge or reduce the image.
Important! If you browse to another website, you will lose the connection with your healthcare provider.
It is possible to (temporarily) enable or disable the camera and/or microphone by clicking the corresponding icons.
Step 4: End the consultation
When the consultation has ended, the healthcare provider will close the video consultation window. You can also do this yourself by clicking the red phone button.
Step 1: Log in 15 minutes in advance
Log in at the latest 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment via the Mynexuzhealth app on your smartphone and enter your PIN code.
You will receive a notification 15 minutes before the start. When you are ready, click ‘Confirm your presence’. The healthcare provider will know you are ready.
Do not close the Mynexuzhealth app and stay near your smartphone. Once the healthcare provider is ready, you will receive another notification.
Step 2: Start the video consultation
The doctor will call you via the app. When you see an incoming call with the name of your healthcare provider and hear a ringing sound, click the green phone button to answer. Increase the volume of your smartphone if necessary.
You can temporarily enable or disable the camera and/or microphone by tapping the corresponding icons.
Use the speech bubble icon in the top right corner to open the chat window.
Step 3: End the consultation
When the consultation has ended, the healthcare provider will close the video consultation window. You can also do this yourself by tapping the red phone button.

You will receive an email from noreply@nexuzhealth.be with the subject ‘Video consultation reminder’. Log in at the latest 15 minutes before the appointment via the link you received by email or letter.
Then enter your personal details:
When you are ready, click the green ‘Confirm your presence’ button. The healthcare provider will know you are ready.
Do not close the webpage and stay near your computer or smartphone. Once the healthcare provider is ready, you will receive a notification.
Step 2: Start the video consultation
The doctor will call you. When you see an incoming call with the name of your healthcare provider and hear a ringing sound, click the green phone button to answer.
