Mynexuzhealth hits milestone: 1.5 million belgians now connected to their health records

Nexuzhealth sees a growing need for clarity in a fragmented care landscape.

The comprehensive digital health portal Mynexuzhealth, developed by Nexuzhealth and used by more than 40 hospitals, has reached a major milestone: more than 1.5 million Belgians now use the same digital health app. In less than ten years, Mynexuzhealth has grown into the largest patient portal in the country.

Citizens increasingly want to take control of their own health. This is why Nexuzhealth invests in digital solutions that eliminate inefficient care pathways and fragmented healthcare experiences. From fragmentation to one digital health record

Patients navigating complex care pathways across multiple providers and institutions often encounter confusion and an overload of different apps and systems, which complicates their healthcare experience. The abundance of fragmented information can be overwhelming. For example, patients often need to switch between separate apps for appointments, medical records, communication with care providers, and medication management. In Belgium alone, there are currently 28 approved health apps, adding further complexity.

With over 1.5 million users, Mynexuzhealth has become the largest patient portal in Belgium. Its strong growth underlines the increasing demand for transparent and accessible digital healthcare. Patients use the app more than twice a week on average. Over the past year, patients have consulted more than four million appointments via the platform.
